What You’ll Need for this Macrame Winter Hat Ornament Ornament:

• Macrame Cord: Greys Made uses 3 mm braided and metallic Macrame cords
• Supplies: 1x 5cm cardboard or wooden ring
• Scissors: For cutting the cord (recommendation: Fiskars Fabric Scissors)
• Measuring Tape: To ensure even lengths (view recommendation)

TIP: If you use a ring of a different diameter, the number of cords for a two-color beanie should be a multiple of four. For a one-color beanie, take an even number of cords.

If you’re using a different type or size of cord, you’ll need to adjust the cord lengths. Remember, if your cord is thicker, cut longer lengths; if it’s thinner, you may be able to use less. Working with a few extra inches on your first try of any new pattern is always better.
