Hi Everyone!

My name is Marloes, a Macrame enthusiast from the Netherlands who currently lives in Mallorca, Spain. I discovered this amazing fiber art about 2 years ago and found it quite surprising how easy it is to learn the basic Macrame knots. Let’s just say I’m usually not the best when it comes to DIY knitting and crochet projects, so this was a great bonus!

I love watching Youtube tutorials and learning new patterns and knots. Inspired by all your amazing artwork and my own (surprisingly pretty) creations, I decided to start a blog and show everyone how much fun it is to make your own macrame projects and so Macrameforbeginners.com was born.

I’ve recently launched my YouTube channel, made my very first video tutorial, and welcomed over 50.000+ members to our Macrame for Beginners Facebook Group.

I hope this can be a great resource for new Macrame Makers and that it will inspire you to start knotting amazing things!

Learn how to get started with Macrame as an absolute beginner and create your first Macrame artwork today!
