Monthly Macrame Challenge May
For the May Macrame Challenge, we’ve chosen to work with a free video tutorial provided by the wonderful Chasta from Soulful Notions.
This gorgeous Macrame wall hanging is perfect for beginners and will teach you how to make some beautiful knots in the process!

Supplies needed to this wall hanging
- 3mm or 3.5mm 3-ply cotton Macrame cords (240 feet / 73 meters in total)
- Dowel (12 inches / 30 cm) > check Etsy for great suppliers
- Masking tape (to tape the end of your cords)
- Fabric glue (optional)
The total measurement of this wall hanging is:
Width: 12 inches / 30cm
Length: 27 inches / 69cm
Don’t have all the right supplies to make this wall hanging? No worries, we accept all creative submissions! You can use any size, color, or type of cord to make this project.
TIP: Please do make sure to add a bit of length when cutting your cords if you choose to use a thicker cord, like 5mm for example.
